    Thumbnails sometimes are useful. Fo me, I just use original size of images on my site =)

    Now a days most of themes are coming with inbuilt option for Generating Thumbnails. I was using Thumbnail For Excerpts in my blog. It was a nice plugin for creating thumb nails.

    having thumbnails in posts is absolutely necessary to impress the visitors that come to your site. i use autopost thumbnail plugin in my site to display thumbnails. it displays the first image of the post as thumbnail. i haven’t tried out other plugins that you mentioned. your article is quite informative.

    I used “Thumbnail For Excerpts” for my previous theme, but now my theme already has a built-in feature, so don’t really require any :)

    Thumbnails also can be display by editing functions.php, i think so. what do you think?

      If you are good at coding, you can do it by adding a piece of code to function.php. These plugins are for newbies and for those who don’t like to mess-up with code.

    Well what these plug-ins do are simply to slow your page loading. If you are a real webmaster you should study how to code because codes instead of plug-ins work better and loads faster.

    It could be a great idea if you had used corresponding images to show these 3 related post thumbnail plugins. I don’t know one plugin among the three(Hungred post thumbnail).
    But, I’m quite happy with Linkwithin. I heard somewhere that these plugins take much time to load, that’s why I’ve opted for LinkWithin.

    Never use ‘thumbnail for excerpt’ plugin. …..never. when i started my website it use to take 30 freakin seconds to load and i was so frustrated. then i tried to deactivate individual plugin and later checked the speed of loading. At an instance the load time fell down to 3 to 4 seconds. guess what, ‘thumb nail for excerpts’ was the culprit. it made my website to load for 30 seconds. In my view i seriously recommend not to use it!
