What is SimpleScripts ?
SimpleScripts is a free web application installer, which is similar to Fantastico. SimpleScripts is very easy to use and it supports many free and premium scripts. It is available as inbuilt option in BlueHost Hosting Service.

WordPress can be installed in different ways and the most popular one is using SimpleScripts. Its just a one click installation process and everything can be easily configured.

Assigning Domain to cPanel Account
The very first step to start with is, Assigning a Domain to cPanel account.If you have already assigned the domain to cPanel, then skip to net step immediately.
After logging into your cPanel account, Go to Domains section and click on “Addon Domains” link.

Now enter the domain name without http:// and www in the “Domain Field”.

Ownership of the domain will be verified based on the name servers assigned to it. In this case we are using BlueHost and hence name servers are NS1.BLUEHOST.COM and NS2.BLUEHOST.COM

Select “Addon Domain” in the step3 and proceed to next step.

Final step is to create a new directory and assigning the sub-domain.

Click on “Add Domain” button, you will be redirected to Domain Management Page.

It will take 5-10 minutes to finish the process and now lets move to next step.
Installing WordPress using SimpleScripts
After assigning domain, you can install WordPress on it by following these steps.
In your cPanel go to “Softwares / Services” section and click on SimpleScripts Link.

Now a list of all available scripts will be displayed and click on WordPress.

You need to click on Install button to proceed further to the installation page.

At this point you need to go through 4 steps and the very first one is to select the domain form Drop-Down list. Another benefit of using SimpleScripts is, you can select the version of WordPress that is to be installed on your blog.

Step 2 is pretty simple and major part of it will automatically processed. Simply enter the title of your website in the desired field. You can also manually define the database, username and password.

Step 3 is optional (it includes promotional themes and plugins, hence skipped it). Now, its time to read the terms and conditions.

Click on complete button and the installation progress will be displayed like this.

After installation is completed, Login URL will be displayed. Follow that link and login to your new WordPress blog using the credentials (check your email for username and password).
