Whats New in Genesis 1.8.2 ?

- Fixed bug in term editing function.
- Fixed warning when using the Theme Editor.
- Fixed deprecated function warning when displaying theme information in the document head.
- Fixed deprecated function warning when using Genesis’s custom header feature.
This update is considered as a minor one and if you have already upgraded to WordPress 3.4, then it is recommended to update your Genesis Framework also.

How to show up again genesis update notification? Because before it, I have remove it.
I am using genesis framework on studiopress child 20 theme in my site, recently after the update of genesis 1.9 in my site page link got dissapeared , so I am waiting for a fast update so that it get fixed.
Please clarify my some doubts:
1. Will genesis increase page load speed?
2. Will it increase adsense CTR?
3. Should I use yoast SEO or inbuilt SEO?

Genesis is one of the most flexible WordPress frameworks that comes with tons of options. Here is the info you are looking for:
1. Yes, page loading speed will be improved. (you can check WPSquare page speed score – 94/100 that too without using any cache plugin).
2. CTR depends on many factors and Ads can be easily displayed using widget sections. (You can also create custom widget sections using filters.)
3. You can use Yoast SEO plugin and the Genesis inbuilt SEO will be automatically turned-off after installing Yoast SEO or All in SEO plugins.
4. There are many free and premium Genesis Child themes available. For personal blog you can use Mindstream or Tapestry child themes, as both of them got support for post formats.
5. For customizing Genesis you can create your own child theme or can use simple genesis hooks plugin. Its not recommended to edit core files, as the changes will be overwritten whenever you update Genesis framework in future.
